Sterling Meadows was founded in 1980 by Wally and Bonny Thacker, and has since grown to be one of the premier tack and feed stores in the Southeast. It’s hard to believe, as you look around the 8000 square feet retail store and  two hay and feed warehouses with all the English and Western tack & saddles, supplements, ranch supplies, apparel, boots and so much more, that Sterling Meadows started in a old storage freezer, located at the Farmers Market.

The original owners sold Sterling Meadows Feed & Tack to the current owners, Cindy and Sam Hinkle, who continue to carry on the family owned business with the same exceptional service. Sterling Meadows is built on two concepts – providing exceptional customer service, and carrying all of the best equestrian products at, competitive prices. Over the years, Sterling Meadows has built a reputation of carrying quality products, and offering superior service.
